I have had many conversations regarding apprehension about not wanting to try hypnosis because they do not believe they can visualize. I totally get it. Our minds are on hyperdrive throughout the day, barely making room for any other thoughts than what is immediately in front of us.

During your session, we will slow down the day, slow down the outside world and do our absolute best to calm that busy mind.  Please don’t throw in the towel before you’ve given yourself a chance to try it.

QHHT is a beautiful and fascinating modality that requires you to be okay with letting go of your “control” and allowing those wonderful visions or sensations to come pouring through. I promise you are in great care and surrounded by love.

I understand the control that you are holding onto serves you, and I honor that for you. During your time with your practitioner, it is all about you, and you are safe and sound with us. This is a perfect time to be able to let go of all your worries about the outside world. You’ll be amazed at how fast you will start relaxing with our voices and start seeing with your mind’s eye.

Imagination is Visualization

During hypnosis, we want to activate the right side of your mind. This is the side that houses all the pictures, and creativity. It’s your imagination!

Still, think you’re terrible at using your imagination? Okay, I hear you, and I believe you are not. Let’s do a quick exercise.

“Describe the front of your home for me?” In detail, please.

“Describe your best friend. How do they look?” Give me all the details, please.

I bet you were able to answer both of those questions for me. Congrats, you just used visualization to see the front of your home and your best friend. It’s so easy!

Close your eyes, take a deep breath in, and when you exhale, imagine a red apple. That’s it, just one red apple.

Then as you see your red apple, you can take an additional step, and imagine how that apple would feel in your hand, and how it would taste, smell and sound as you take a bite.

That’s it. Trust the first thing that pops up. You’ve got this.

Sensing

It is very possible that you will sense images more than you would see them in your mind’s eye. That’s okay! This is very common and something I experienced during my first QHHT session. “I sense this or I sense that”, is normal and very common. Again, trust, is the key word here, those sensations and say the first thing that comes to you.

The more you trust what you’re experiencing and describe it in detail for your practitioner, the more that fog is going to clear up and the more those images are going to start coming through.

Expectations

It’s always good to have some sort of expectation for your session. However, I am going to ask you to place all those expectations aside and be as open as you can be, for whatever results from your session. Your Higher Self will always give you exactly what you need and no more than you can handle. Trust the process and magic will happen.
